On October 29th, Fundația Umanitară ASSIST supported the "Conference on Early Education" event at Filadelfia High School in Suceava. Pre-school and primary educators from across the county participated in this event. The theme for this edition was "Education Comes from the Heart" and it focused on the importance of human values such as empathy, compassion, trust, courage, and humanity in the learning process. Education goes beyond the cognitive aspect and must ensure children's complete and holistic development based on the connectivity between mind, body, and spirit.

This approach represents the future of education through the harmonious development of children's personalities as future adults who are responsible for themselves, their relationships with others, and the world around them. Fundația Umanitară ASSIST strengthens its mission to build a more developed and educated community by supporting events of this kind. Pre-school and primary school teachers could participate in this activity free of charge.

Experienced International Trainers Present in Suceava

The Conference for Early Education brings international experts in education to Romania every year. They present new concepts and address topics essential for aligning the Romanian early childhood education system with the best international models.

  • Among the conference's prominent guests was Pamela Mundy, a consultant, speaker, and renowned author in early education. Pamela is among the most respected international figures in leadership and professional development.
  • Shonette Bason-Wood, an international trainer, educator, and mother of six, was also present at the Early Education Conference.
  • Last but not least, we also enjoyed the presence of Stuart Stotts, an author, musician, and educational trainer who worked in schools around the world, encouraging creativity in students and teachers.

The Conference for Early Education, a Project Turned into a Tradition in Romania

Now in its 8th edition, the Conference on Early Education is an initiative of the Acorns Foundation through FIRST7, the training center for parents and educators. This event aims to present practical teaching solutions to educators adapted to the current needs of children. Edu Max organized this event in Suceava. Together, we were able to give educators, teachers, and primary school teachers a chance to develop their skills, empathy, and creativity.
