Fundația Umanitară ASSIST celebrated the Romanian National Culture Day in Bucovina

This year, Romanian National Culture Day was celebrated in Bucovina with a series of unique events supported by Fundația Umanitară ASSIST. In collaboration with various public institutions from Rădăuți and the surrounding area, we paid tribute to the work of our national poet, Mihai Eminescu, through an interdisciplinary dialogue between poetry, music, and visual art - The "Spirit, Sound, and Color - SiRaVis 2024"""Spirit, Sound, and Color - SiRaVis 2024"

From January 15 to 16th, the five events planned by the organizers attracted a diverse audience. From poetry recitals to musical concerts and ceramic exhibitions, all the cultural discussions offered an uniquely rich experience to the four hundred participants.

The schedule was as follows:

• “Singurătate (Loneliness)” - 15 ianuarie 2024 - Muzeul Etnografic „Samuil și Eugenia Ioneț” Rădăuți;
• “Oglinzi. Colibaba – Magopăț” - January 15, 2024 - Ethnographic Museum "Samuil și Eugenia Ioneț" Rădăuți - Ceramics exhibition and a recital of poetry and music;
• “EminEnEscu” - January 15, 2024 - Voitinel Cultural Center;
• “Vis (Dream)” - January 16, 2024 - Campus of the "Ion Nistor" High School Vicovu de Sus;
• “O, rămâi (Oh, stay)” - January 16, 2024 - Cultural Center Rădăuți.

Fundația Umanitară ASSIST plays an essential role in the local community, both culturally and socially. With the help of donors, partners, and volunteers, we provide financial support for quality events that bring people joy and charitable projects that help those in need.

Undoubtedly, Fundația Umanitară ASSIST stands out for its involvement in the promotion of local culture and constant support for Bucovina's artists. As such, one of the most important cultural projects we were involved in was the restoration and adornment with a Grigorescu-type frame of the famous painting "Shepherdess (Păstorița)". Through initiatives like "Spirit, Sound, and Color", we contribute to preserving Romanian cultural heritage.
