December is the month when we are inspired to share more and make a difference in the lives of others. In this spirit, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation hosted a special event to unite the local community for a meaningful cause.
On December 6th, starting at 8:00 PM, the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Suceava became the backdrop for an unforgettable charitable Christmas concert. This special event delivered an enchanting evening, filled with the joy and warmth of holiday music.
The magical atmosphere resonated through the cathedral, where 300 participants gathered to celebrate the season of giving. The program featured breathtaking performances by the Bucovina Choir and talented students from the “Ciprian Porumbescu” College of Arts, who delighted the audience with a beautiful selection of Christmas melodies.
This year’s concert was dedicated to a vital mission: enhancing artistic education by renovating the Auditorium Hall at the “Ciprian Porumbescu” National College of Arts in Suceava. This space is a creative hub where young artists hone their skills and display their talents through performances, rehearsals, and events.
The renovation project aims to elevate the hall to international standards, equipping it with cutting-edge technology for exceptional acoustics. Partnering with specialists from Germany, we aspire to transform this venue into a benchmark for excellence, on par with top modern performance halls across Europe.
To amplify the impact, ASSIST Software made a generous commitment: for every 50 RON donated by attendees, the company contributed an additional 100 RON. This means every support act will bring us closer to achieving our goal.
Beyond individual donations, we are deeply grateful for the support of our partners. Sercom Electric has donated 6,000 RON, and NOVAOPTIC has contributed 5,000 RON to this noble cause.
Together, we can make a real difference! No matter how small, every contribution brings us closer to our goal of supporting artistic education in our community.
If you couldn't attend the concert, you can still support this cause online.
Education remains at the heart of the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation’s mission. Supporting talented youth and the dedicated educators who guide them is a core value. This year, we honored excellence in education again by presenting the Excellence in Education Award.
The 2024 award went to Professor Daniela Lungoci, a truly inspiring educator. With her creative approach, she beautifully blends art and science, encouraging her students to think critically and explore their curiosity with passion.
Your generosity and compassion drive the success of our initiatives. Thanks to the unwavering support of individuals like you, we have made meaningful strides in our community - whether by enhancing educational opportunities, improving access to healthcare, or encouraging cultural experiences.
