We equipped the robotics laboratory at Ipotești School!

 

Fundația Umanitară ASSIST supports the local community through initiatives focused on the education and development of children. On the 10th of August, our volunteers visited Ipotești School and donated 22 tablets, a laptop, and an interactive whiteboard to equip the robotics lab. The groundwork for the lab was laid by teacher Daniela Lungoci, who has dedicated most of her time to teaching children about robotics.  

  

Small steps to big results 

The devices donated by Fundația Umanitară ASSIST will provide educational support for 50 children in grades 1-4. These children have pursued their passion for robotics in previous years, winning numerous awards in national and international competitions. Among the most important prizes are the 14 LEGO WeDo kits, with which children can build and program robots. The donated tablets are a helpful addition to these kits, allowing the students to connect and control the robots using a mobile app. The laptop and interactive whiteboard will also replace the old generation computer and classic whiteboard. This will make robotics classes more dynamic and fun.

 

A dream come true 

The total investment in this equipment was 19,200 RON. We thank everyone who donated to Fundația Umanitară ASSIST's campaign to buy these devices. Each donation was a step toward fulfilling the dream of equipping the robotics laboratory. The children from Ipotești School now have the chance to unleash their imagination to build diverse and unique robots. 

We are proud that we were able to finish this campaign together successfully. We want to congratulate Mrs. Daniela Lungoci for all the commitment she has shown along the way. It is great to have exceptional mentors like her, who pave the way for a better future and guide children in pursuing their talents.
