The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation sponsored two school competitions held in Suceava
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation is a trusted partner of Suceava's community in promoting education and supporting scholar performance. Throughout our activity, we have focused our charitable actions on supporting students with outstanding results, painting schools, equipping classrooms and even rewarding remarkable teachers.
Another unique opportunity to encourage excellence in education locally and nationally is sponsoring Olympiads and school competitions. Therefore, we chose to actively engage in events such as the National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature and the National Computer Science Contest "Urmașii lui Moisil".
National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature
From the 24th of April to the 28th, Suceava hosted this year's edition of the National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature. The event brought together 276 high school students, and 44 teachers from all corners of the country. Throughout the 5 days of competition, students demonstrated their knowledge of grammar, literature, vocabulary, and composition in a competitive environment designed to stimulate their creativity.
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation joined the event as a sponsor, contributing the sum of 2000 lei. The funds were used to cover part of the accommodation expenses for participants.
National Computer Science Contest "Urmașii lui Moisil"
During the spring, specifically from March 29th to 31st, the National Computer Science Contest "Urmașii lui Moisil" took place at the "Petru Rareș" National College in Suceava. This year’s contest, initiated in 2001, brought together 114 technology and IT enthusiasts, with 55 of them physically participating from Suceava.
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation sponsored the contest, contributing with another 2000 lei to cover accommodation expenses and provide participation packages for the students enrolled in the competition. Additionally, we prepared a special prize for each winner as a token of appreciation for their effort.
Opportunities and resources for the local community
Education remains one of the main points of interest for the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation. Through our charitable campaigns and actions, we aim to provide access to information and opportunities to as many students in the county as possible.
