Every year on June 14th, the world celebrates World Blood Donor Day, a moment to recognize that one simple, selfless act can mean the difference between life and death. The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation marked the occasion once again at the Suceava County Blood Transfusion Center, with volunteers who stepped up over the course of three days to help ensure the blood supply for hospitals and medical centers across Suceava.

Why Blood Donation Matters: A Year-Round Need in Suceava

Blood donation is not just a one-day cause, and the doors of the Suceava County Blood Transfusion Center are open throughout the year. Surgeries, emergencies, and chronic illness treatments all depend on a steady supply that only voluntary donors can provide. Becoming a donor means becoming part of that system, reliably and repeatedly.

Be a #ProudDonor and A Hero in Your Community

Donating blood is a simple, safe process carried out under the supervision of qualified medical staff. It takes less than an hour, costs nothing, and it can save up to three lives per donation.

The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation invites anyone who is eligible to join this campaign throughout the year, because one act of empathy can make you someone's hero.
