Fundația Umanitară ASSIST equipped School no. 3 in Suceava with robotics equipment!
At Fundația Umanitară ASSIST, we are committed to uplifting the Suceava community through education, health, culture, and humanitarian support. Our focus has always been on the growth and development of young people in the local area, and we believe in providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive. That's why we took on the exciting initiative of equipping the computer lab at the School no. 3 in Suceava with cutting-edge robotics equipment!
Thanks to volunteers' and donors' involvement, we fulfilled the children's dreams of developing their passion for technology. Community support is essential in accomplishing the mission from which Fundația Umanitară ASSIST started. Our team includes passionate and dedicated volunteers who work together to create positive change in the local community. Our efforts focus on providing resources and facilities that help improve youth education quality.
The Suceava community responded quickly to the fundraising campaign. Thus, on the 6th of April, we had the joy of equipping the computer lab of No. 3 School in Suceava with robotics equipment. Among the items we purchased with a total investment of 9,132 RON were:
- An HP Victus laptop;
- A gaming mouse;
- A joystick;
- Robot building elements (Micro:bit);
- Additional memory for the laptop.
An investment for the future
We are glad to know that we have contributed to young minds' education by allowing them to unleash their imagination and create unique robots. Fundația Umanitară ASSIST remains committed to supporting education and the community in Suceava through various charitable projects and initiatives. We aim to give young people the resources they need to unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams.
We would like to extend special thanks to Daniela Petrovici, the computer science teacher, for her unwavering involvement and dedication over the years. Without her support and passion, this project would not have been possible. We are grateful for her contributions to the education improvements in Suceava. We would also like to thank the donors whose generous contributions fulfilled the dream of equipping another robotics lab in our city.
