What does summer mean for most children? For many, summer means vacation, endless days of play, lazy mornings, and warm rain. But summer is more than that - it's an opportunity to explore the world around them, have new experiences, and develop skills that will last a lifetime. Education and development through play stimulate children's curiosity and are a great way to learn.

In August, we joined 70 children aged 5 to 13 enrolled in the "Summer School: Childhood - a Dream World" program. On the opening day, we offered them personalized t-shirts and sweets to make the beginning of the week more pleasant.

Now in its fifth edition, the summer school, organized by General School Number 1 in Suceava, is an educational project in which we have been involved with great pleasure for the second consecutive year. We are aware of the importance of these experiences for children's development. New friends, strengthening existing bonds, acquiring new skills, overcoming fears, and creating pleasant memories contribute to their formation as individuals

Over a week, teachers and student volunteers organized educational activities to stimulate children's creativity. The little ones enjoyed days full of games, dance, painting workshops, and creative sewing in an atmosphere of interactive and fun learning.

One day, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation invited the students to the Arinis Adventure Park in Gura Humorului, covering all costs for transportation and access to the complex. Together with teachers and volunteers, the students ventured on the park's trails, overcoming various obstacles with great courage and determination. This experience offered the children a unique opportunity to build self-confidence, work in a team, encourage each other, and overcome their limits, all essential for personal development.

At the end of the program, we offered the children a snack that they enjoyed together, sharing the impressions they had gathered during the day.

One of the missions of the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation is to cultivate in young people the desire to learn and to offer them the necessary support to reach their full potential. Today's young people are the future of society, and we want them to have a solid foundation on which to build.

If you, too, want to share in the joy of the little ones and simultaneously offer them a chance for a quality education, join our initiatives.
