The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation spreads joy to the FARA Foundation Children

We strongly believe that any celebration is a good occasion to give to those around us. Therefore, on the 11th of April, just before the Easter Holiday, the volunteers of the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation surprised the kids from the FARA Foundation with gifts and spent a few hours with them joining in on some Easter-themed activities.  

The FARA Foundation helps children that suffer from various medical issues to overcome the limits set by their conditions through different types of therapy, games and other interactive activities. Motivated by our desire to help and support the local community and those in need, we visited the children with our hearts full of emotion and our arms full of gifts. We offered them games, toys and other resources that are meant to help and support their learning and development. 3000 RON was invested in this cause, and the children, as well as their carers, were delighted with our visit and the gifts we brought.  

Throughout the two hours we spent at the FARA center, we actively participated in the activities which included easter eggs painting, coloring, and opening and playing with the gifts we donated. The children were very excited to have us there and welcomed us with a lot of warmth and enthusiasm, giving us the chance to spend a few hours filled with emotion, happiness, candor and innocence.  

 As a thank you gesture, the FARA foundation gifted us a painting that the children had created with the help of their caregivers.  

It was a heartwarming experience that made us see life from a different perspective and made us more appreciative of what we have. The time we spent at the center was moving and filled with lessons, which motivates us to return to them and thank them for sharing their joy,  sincerity and optimism.
