People often say that good deeds are done quietly, and the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation has always focused on creating real impact within the community rather than seeking the spotlight. Still, we believe that some stories deserve to be shared, not for praise, but to inspire. When we see dedicated people, projects coming to life, and communities united around doing good, we all find more courage to follow the same path.

On November 11, Cătălina Micliuc, Vice President of the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, was invited to the morning show at Televiziunea Intermedia to discuss one of the foundation’s most ambitious projects: the complete modernisation of the performance hall at the “Ciprian Porumbescu” Art College in Suceava.

Joined by interior designer Cezar Ciornei, a key partner in the project’s development, Cătălina Micliuc presented the progress of the renovation works, the challenges encountered along the way, and the long-term impact this project will have on future generations of young artists.

A Project Designed for Artistic Excellence

The performance hall is approaching its official inauguration. It has been transformed into a modern, professionally equipped space designed to provide students and audiences with an artistic experience of the highest standards.

During the interview, Cătălina Micliuc highlighted the project’s core features: carefully optimised acoustics achieved through specialised materials and geometry, enhanced visual and auditory comfort for performers and spectators, professional finishes supported by modern technical solutions, and an interior design tailored specifically for stage performance.

This project represents a major investment in artistic education in Suceava, providing the Art College with a high-quality space suitable for rehearsals, competitions, and cultural events

A Joint Effort

The Vice President of the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation also emphasised the essential role of the partners and donors who made this renovation possible. Local companies, industry professionals, and generous individuals all contributed to bringing this vision to life.

“This hall is the result of genuine collaboration. It is a project of the Suceava community as a whole, and its impact will be felt for many years to come,” said Cătălina Micliuc.

Vision, Technique, and the Future of Arts Education

The appearance on Televiziunea Intermedia provided the foundation with an opportunity to share the behind-the-scenes story of the project, from the initial sketches and acoustic studies to the selection of materials and implementation of the technical solutions that transformed an ordinary space into a professional performance hall.

The discussion highlighted not only the technical effort but also the dedication of the team and the importance of supporting institutions that nurture artistic education.

A Project the Entire Community Can Be Proud Of

The modernisation of the Art College’s performance hall stands as a testament to collaboration, responsibility, and social engagement. Through this initiative, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting education, culture, and the artistic talent of Suceava’s young generation.

We invite you to continue standing with us and to support the initiatives that make a real difference in our community.
