2024: A Year of Education and Solidarity

For the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, 2024 was another year of commitment, ambitious projects, and impactful initiatives that brought real change to the community.

Once again, we were reminded that we are surrounded by people who believe in doing good - people who want education, health, culture, and the arts not only to exist but to grow and transform lives.

As we completed our third year of activity, we carried out charitable campaigns that strengthened our organization and our relationships with our partners and supporters. With more and more people joining our mission, we are inspired to continue making a difference.

Creating Opportunities for the Future

In 2024, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation supported over 1,500 students through education-focused projects, investing over €21,000 to create authentic learning opportunities.

Through 14 major educational initiatives, we reaffirmed our commitment to academic excellence by modernizing and beautifying schools, equipping multimedia labs, and providing essential resources to students in vulnerable communities. From school supplies and clothing to access to technology, our efforts helped ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed.

Beyond material support, we also organized interactive educational activities encouraging students to explore their potential, develop new skills, and build a foundation for a brighter future. 

Culture: A Bridge That Connects People

For the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, culture is about emotion, identity, and community. In 2024, we invested over €11,300 in cultural initiatives that turned the city into a vibrant cultural hub, bringing art closer to people and giving local and international artists a platform to shine.

We engaged thousands of participants with 8 major cultural projects and fostered strong connections between audiences, artists, and cultural organizations. From theater performances and international festivals to improving cultural spaces, each initiative contributed to building a more united and creative community where culture is a shared experience that inspires and opens new opportunities. 

Health and Solidarity

Health and well-being remained a priority in 2024. The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation directed €24,200 toward health initiatives, implementing four significant activities that significantly impacted the community.

We supported first-aid training, ensuring rescuers and young trainees had access to vital equipment. More than 20 volunteers participated in a blood donation campaign, helping to replenish essential hospital reserves. Additionally, we provided financial aid for urgent medical cases, assisting five children and young adults in accessing critical treatments. We also supported centers for children with disabilities by equipping them with the tools needed for education and therapy.

Closer to the Community

In 2024, we continued to strengthen our bond with the community through various social events that brought joy and learning opportunities. Whether by organizing special moments for children or strengthening our volunteer team, every initiative reflected our commitment to collective well-being and meaningful human connections.

For Children’s Day, we partnered with EduMAx for the EduFortress Festival, creating a fun and educational experience. With the help of our volunteers, over 200 children enjoyed creative activities, face painting, and sweet surprises, making the day a truly special occasion.

We also hosted our first volunteer teambuilding event, strengthening relationships within our team through engaging workshops and collaborative activities. This experience reinforced our unity and prepared us for the impactful projects ahead.
