Between August 5th and 11th, the city of Rădăuți hosted a series of unique cultural events that brought together diverse communities and musical traditions. Celebrating its 10th edition, the Sommerfest Rădăuți festival aims to highlight the ethnic and cultural diversity of our community through various art forms. As a sponsor of these events, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation reaffirms its role as a promoter of initiatives that contribute to the development of the local community.
The festival kicked off on August 5th with a concert by the "Anton Pann" Old Music Ensemble at the Rădăuți Cultural Center. This performance revived early Romanian music for the public, highlighting the authenticity and traditions that define us. On August 6th, the renowned Ada Milea, accompanied by Bobo Burlăcianu, took the stage at the same venue. Later, on August 8th, Ovidiu Foca, Andrei Mihail Radu, Corina Răducanu, and Eugen Dumitrescu delighted the audience with an exceptional lyrical performance.
Another special moment occurred on August 11th at the synagogue in downtown Rădăuți, a building rich in history and symbolism. Here, young participants of the masterclasses held throughout the festival performed alongside their mentors. For the first time, these workshops included lessons in the "Alexander Technique" and "Applied Musical Culture". This performance was proof that tradition and artistic excellence are being passed on to the next generations.
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation was one of the sponsors of the 10th edition of the Sommerfest Rădăuți festival. Through our involvement, we continued our mission to promote culture and back events that contribute to community development. Our support facilitated high-quality cultural events for the community and contributed to the education of young people through masterclasses. We are pleased to have been part of this year's festival and extend our congratulations to everyone who contributed to its success!
