December was a month dedicated to children, community, and initiatives that bring emotion, education, and hope to the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation. Through social, cultural, and educational initiatives, we aimed to create meaningful experiences for children and strengthen community bonds

Music Brings Hope: Supporting the “Sclipiri de Cer” Children’s Choir

In December, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation supported the “Sclipiri de Cer” Children’s Choir, a group of 107 children from underprivileged families in Suceava, aged between 3 and 13.

By participating in several Christmas carol concerts organized across different communities in the county, the children shared the joy of the holidays and the emotional power of music with a wide audience.

Under Roxana Bodnariuc's coordination, the young performers held concerts in multiple locations, offering moments filled with sensitivity, warmth, and the authentic spirit of Christmas. Their carols brought smiles and created a festive atmosphere that resonated deeply with those present.

As a token of appreciation for their dedication and effort, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation offered each child a gift, hoping that every artistic performance would end with a beautiful memory. We believe that support offered at the right moment can have a real impact, turning artistic participation into an experience that stays with children long after the holiday season ends

Carolers and Smiles at the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation Headquarters

During this period, we also had the pleasure of welcoming the students of Class III B from Școala Gimnazială Nr. 1 to our headquarters. They delighted us with Christmas carols and brought the authentic atmosphere of the winter holidays into our space.

With voices full of energy, accompanied by a guitar and an enthusiasm felt “in every fiber,” the children created a moment of pure joy and genuine emotion. It was clear that they truly felt the joy of singing carols together and enjoyed sharing this experience as a team.

We welcomed them with fruit and sweets, and their smiles and excitement were the most beautiful reward, reminding us how meaningful simple gestures can be.

Culture and Imagination for Children in “The Children’s Fortress”

Also in December, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation partnered in the first edition of the International Theatre and Dramatic Literature Festival – “The Children’s Fortress”, organized by the “Matei Vișniec” Municipal Theatre of Suceava.

The event opened the doors to the world of theatre, storytelling, and creativity for the participating children. In addition to the cultural experiences offered through performances, the children also received gifts from the foundation, a symbolic gesture meant to bring extra joy and support access to culture.

Together for the Community

Through these December initiatives, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation reaffirms its commitment to children, education, and the community. Every action, no matter how small, contributes to creating experiences that can have a positive long-term impact.

We thank all our partners, educators, artists, and volunteers who stood by us and made these initiatives possible.
