The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation: A Promoter of Romanian Folk Culture

Tradition and Romanian folklore came alive in Suceava on April 11th, at the 5th edition of the National Festival "Pe Obcina Neamului". The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation was honored to join the event organizers, the Arcanul Ensemble, who brought together exceptional talents from all corners of the country. 

Spectators witnessed a vibrant display of traditional costumes, authentic folk music, and energetic dances that electrified the atmosphere. As per audience feedback, the attendees allowed themselves to feel captivated by the beauty and diversity of Romanian folk culture. 

The collaboration between the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation and the Arcanul Ensemble is not a new one. Last year, the foundation was present at the ensemble's 60th-anniversary celebration, demonstrating its ongoing support for authentic folk culture. 

Supporting culture is a fundamental priority for the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation. By actively participating in events like the "Pe Obcina Neamului" Festival, the foundation aims to attract a broader audience to this vital aspect of community life. Folk culture defines us as a people, offers us a unique identity, and unites us regardless of age or social status and the "Pe Obcina Neamului" Festival is a testament to the richness and diversity of this culture.
