Bucovina is increasingly coming together for its community, for development, and to support those in need. It happened again on April 21 during the "Săftița" concert, held as part of the charity event "Notes of Hope".
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation joined the initiative of the InBUSINESS Club Suceava Association, in partnership with the "Matei Vișniec" Municipal Theater Suceava and the "Ciprian Porumbescu" College of Art. We participated in organizing the show with a contribution of 1,050 lei and provided gift vouchers to the students from Ciprian Porumbescu who performed on stage.
The event was organized to support children with autism and their families who are trying to provide them with access to the best therapies. The participants in this event are all members of the Autism Intervention Association (AIAS). Additionally, two cases of children in need of humanitarian assistance were presented, and through this event organized by In Business, the necessary assistance will be provided to these children.
During the event, the audience had the opportunity to witness a remarkable performance by maestro Marius Mihalache, renowned for his virtuosity on the cimbalom, who was accompanied on stage by his wife, vocalist Arabela Nicolau, his son, drummer Lorin Mihalache, and bassist Ciprian Parghel, from Suceava. These talented artists managed to create a true dance of instruments for the Suceava audience. Together, they performed the story of the woman Săftița, a tale that was awarded the Special UNITER Prize in 2019.
The audience experienced a unique musical journey, a combination of traditional Romanian music and modern sound elements, resulting in a universal expression of folklore's essence. Through musical notes and meaningful lyrics, the spectators were transported to a realm of universal human experiences and emotions.
Marius Mihalache overflowed with infectious energy and emotion, being a consummate artist who managed to connect perfectly with the audience.
The event was a success, with the goal of raising as many donations as possible being achieved. In just one evening, 16,350 lei was donated, which will reach children diagnosed with autism and their parents.
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation supported the organizers' initiative with a contribution of 1,050 lei and provided gift vouchers to the students from Ciprian Porumbescu who performed on stage.
We are delighted that we could support the organization of this charity event and that we had the opportunity to witness the performance of such talented artists who managed to immerse the audience in the story of Săftița through lyrics and music.
