At the heart of every thriving community lies the ability to offer its children the chance to discover and develop their unique talents. Institutions like the Children's Palace in Suceava play a vital role in shaping the next generation — providing a space where education, creativity, and future aspirations come together. Here, children learn, dream, create, and grow into the individuals they’re meant to become.

In March 2025, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation had the opportunity to support the educational community of Suceava through two special initiatives organized in partnership with the Children's Palace in celebration of its 70th anniversary.

"StartIT" – Inspiring Future IT Specialists

On March 28, 2025, the 15th edition of the “StartIT” competition brought together 26 passionate and talented high school students to showcase their skills in technology and innovation. The ASSIST Foundation proudly supported the event by providing valuable educational resources and personalized prizes — a gesture meant to inspire and encourage young minds to pursue IT careers and contribute to the growth of this ever-evolving field.

"The Stage of Childhood" – A Celebration Through Art

On March 29, the Suceava House of Culture hosted a memorable anniversary performance titled “The Stage of Childhood”, honoring 70 years of creative and educational activity at the Children's Palace. Over 300 talented children took the stage, sharing their passion through music, dance, and artistic expression. During the event, the ASSIST Foundation presented 30 custom plaques to educators and school inspectors, as a token of appreciation for their dedication and impact on generations of students.

Supporting Modern Education Through Technology

As part of the same collaboration, the ASSIST Foundation also contributed to upgrading the Robotics Lab at the Children's Palace. The donation included 6 laptops, 4 desktop units, 10 monitors, and essential peripherals — all intended to replace outdated equipment and provide students with modern tools for learning and innovation.

With these new resources, children will be better equipped to explore STEM fields — from programming and robotics to engineering — in an environment that fosters performance and hands-on creativity. The Robotics Club at the Children’s Palace is already nationally recognized for its achievements in competitions, and we’re proud to support its journey toward excellence.

Through these initiatives, the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, alongside its partners, reaffirms its commitment to education, recognizing teachers' vital role, and creating real opportunities for young people to confidently shape their future.

We firmly believe that education is the cornerstone of a strong and sustainable community. By investing in projects like these, we are helping to build a generation of well-prepared, creative, and socially engaged young individuals.
