ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation Celebrated Children’s Day with the Local Community
Childhood doesn’t need much to be magical; it just needs safety, encouragement, and the freedom to play, dream, and explore. At the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, we believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn through play, and develop in an environment that nurtures curiosity and confidence.
On International Children’s Day, we visited two communities in Suceava County to celebrate childhood as it should be: joyful, colorful, and meaningful.
EduFortress – A Festival of Childhood in the Heart of the City
In the central square of Suceava, our face painting booth became a gateway to imagination. Our volunteers painted butterflies, tigers, superheroes, and more, bringing smiles to over 200 children who left the festival with their favorite character on their face and joy in their hearts.
This marks our fourth year participating in the event organized by EduMax, and we’re proud to continue adding a touch of magic to the day.
In Râșca, We Pedaled for Education and Health
On the same day, we supported the Râșca Marathon – Pedal for Education and Health, a community-focused event initiated by teacher Denis Petricheanu. We set up the starting gate and donated a bicycle for the final raffle—a prize that brought genuine joy to young winner David Florin.
Two of our colleagues, Mădălina Agheorghiesei and Ioan Mihael, proudly represented the foundation, earning 1st and 3rd place in their respective categories.
Education, Joy, and Community Are Investments in the Future
Today’s children are tomorrow’s adults. That’s why we chose to stand by them from the very beginning. We support initiatives encouraging holistic intellectual, emotional, and physical development, and we hope to inspire more people to join us in this mission.
