In April of this year, the 'Arcanul' Student Dance Ensemble from Suceava celebrated 60 years of artistic activity. On this occasion, they organized a memorable anniversary show, and our foundation had the opportunity to sponsor the event.
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation actively engages in promoting culture and community development, which is why we joyfully and enthusiastically contributed to the organization of the anniversary spectacle. We were in tune with the numerous audience members and fully felt the joy that took hold of the hall, which filled to capacity even before the start of the show.
The 'Arcanul' Student Ensemble was established alongside the 'Ștefan cel Mare' University of Suceava. From its inception until the present day, the ensemble has participated in numerous national festivals and competitions, where they have stood out through their stage presence, choreography, and interpretations of popular repertoires, accumulating an impressive number of trophies and distinctions.
Over time, within the 'Arcanul' Student Ensemble - USV, several generations of students have found and developed their vocation and love for tradition and folklore. They have proudly shared glimpses of Romanian culture on both national and international stages (Austria, France, Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary), with many of them becoming well-known artists.
For approximately three hours, the anniversary show, commemorating six decades of activity, brought together on stage nearly 200 artists, including former and current members of the ensemble, Bukovinian soloists, and beloved performers such as Margareta Clipa, Călin Brăteanu, Leonard Zamă, Dana Dăncilă, Gelu Cuzic, Liliana Ursachi, and many other well-known names, both locally and nationally.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire ensemble for their performance of movements and harmonies, for all the hard work and hours dedicated to shows that have touched hearts, ignited emotions, awakened consciences, and sparked the flames of love for one’s nation and country.
We thank them for the love and passion that drives them, despite daily concerns and responsibilities, to perpetuate Romanian tradition and folklore.
