Every year, on June 14th, the global community celebrates World Blood Donor Day. It is a special occasion to recognize and celebrate the generosity and courage of blood donors around the world. This day is dedicated to the heroes who save lives through a simple altruistic act. On this day, blood donation campaigns take on special significance, promoting the importance of blood donation and raising awareness among communities.
Fundația Umanitară ASSIST volunteers mobilize for this purpose every year, some even more frequently. In addition to donating, we strive to motivate others to join this campaign. This year19 volunteers from our foundation have saved nearly 60 lives with their gesture.
