About the Foundation
The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation was established in 2022 as a natural extension of the charitable initiatives led by the community of software engineers, specialists, and managers at ASSIST Software in Suceava. Over time, this community has grown, bringing together partners, volunteers, and donors from various institutions, companies, and organizations in Suceava. Together, we have joined forces to make a real difference where needed most and to help build a fairer future for Romania.
Fundația Umanitară ASSIST promotes ideas of empathy and care. What are your values?
As a humanitarian foundation, we aim to support those in need while empowering individuals who strive for excellence. We invest in education, healthcare, and culture, ensuring our efforts benefit disadvantaged communities and those pursuing personal and professional growth. From donations that provide children access to essential learning resources to supporting older people and families in distress, we act responsibly and emphatically.
Our goal is to develop long-term solutions that create a lasting impact on the lives of people in Suceava and across Romania.
Through the ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation, we have organized large-scale projects at both local and national levels. We respond swiftly in times of crisis while also developing sustainable initiatives that foster a more compassionate and supportive society.
Our experience over the years has allowed us to implement programs with real impact, earning recognition in the social, educational, and cultural spheres.
It’s an unexplainable feeling to know that you can help somebody who truly needs it. I think we all should think of those less fortunate than us and donate to them. It doesn’t matter how little or how much, give.”
