About the Foundation
Fundația Umanitară ASSIST (The ASSIST Humanitarian Foundation) has helped people in the Suceava area since even before its founding in 2022.
Fundația Umanitară ASSIST promotes ideas of empathy and care. What are your values?
For 30 years, we have tried to help those in need of a bit of kindness. Fundația Umanitară ASSIST represents a common wish to do good expressed by the software engineers, specialists, managers, and friends who make up the ASSIST Software community.
In 2022, we created Fundația Umanitară ASSIST to give more visibility and contour to all our previous and ongoing charity work. By having this legal entity, we can now start even bigger, more important projects that aim to help the community.
Our previous projects and charity work have given us the necessary experience to make Fundația Umanitară ASSIST a well-known entity that inspires others through its efforts. Thus, we chose to continue to focus on social, cultural, and educational issues, hoping to bring lasting change into people's lives.
It's important for us to bring a change of dynamic and perspective as we wish to show children, the elderly, and other people in need the respect and dignity that they might have been denied in their trials.
It’s an unexplainable feeling to know that you can help somebody who truly needs it. I think we all should think of those less fortunate than us and donate to them. It doesn’t matter how little or how much, give.”
We feel joy when we donate; thus, we want to encourage others to do the same. You are invited to participate in our campaigns, contribute through donations and support us on social media.
We aim to bring together people that do not hesitate to get involved in solving social issues. The Fundația Umanitară ASSIST volunteers are proactive. They constantly search for ways in which we do good.
Our mission is to support communities and change perspectives.
We support non-aggression, education, culture, and science because we want people to grow in a harmonious society. Progress and innovation open new horizons.
